PSWS will be held at the Circle City Industrial Complex on May 21st, 2022, from 11:00AM-6:00PM. There will be no charge for admittance. Sponsored by @properties IND and Merchants Bank of Indiana, PSWS will be a full day of activities that will include:

- A large outdoor market for plants and plant related items, including a garden plant sale from Growing Places Indy.

- Two large plant swaps where registrants can bring their plants and cuttings to trade with others.

- A Planty Pageant, where contestants can dress up with their favorite plants and compete to win prizes. Hosted by our PSWS Queen.

- DJ Dickey Foxx and friends playing music all day long!

- Food from Futuro Pizza and La Margarita

- Beverages from Centerpoint Brewing and 8th Day Distillery

The market at PSWS will include a variety of local collaborators selling plants and plant related items. Houseplants, macrame, ceramics, plant-based foods, botanicals, art, and much more will be available for attendees to purchase. In addition, Growing Places Indy will be bringing their annual garden plant sale to the event, so that attendees can purchase plant starts and take them home to their gardens!

Two separate large-scale plant swaps will be held at 12PM and 4PM. Participants will make one required swap with another preassigned participant. The assigned swaps will be broken into different price brackets. Participants will have the opportunity to fill out a “wish list” of plants they would like to receive. After the initial trades are made, participants will then be free to trade whatever with whomever they like. Both sessions will run 1.5 hours. Cost to take part in these swaps is $5 plus ticketing fees.

PSWS will also include a first-of-its-kind Planty Pageant. Contestants will be asked to submit photos of themselves with their favorite plants, both dressed up however they see fit. The more outrageous, the better! There will also be a questionnaire so that they can give us a little info about themselves and their plant. All of this will be posted on the PSWS website and will be prejudged before the event. Day of, the top finalists will have the opportunity to step on stage, with our host, the PSWS Queen. Finalists will then compete to impress our guest judges and win gift cards to local plant stores.

In addition to planty things, PSWS attendees will also be able to enjoy music, craft beer and cocktails, and local eateries. DJ Dickey Foxx, and his guests, will be in the booth providing a soundtrack to the event all day long. Centerpoint Brewing will provide attendees craft beer, while 8th Day Distillery will attend to their cocktail needs. For food at PSWS, Indy favorites Futuro will be serving up pizza by the slice and La Margarita will be slinging tacos.
